Meet Lisa Gray: Director and Senior Occupational Therapist
What truly sets Alora Allied Health apart is the extensive experience and passion of our Director, Lisa Gray. Graduating from the University of Western Sydney in 1999 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy), Lisa brings a wealth of experience from diverse public and non-government organisations across NSW and the Northern Territory, including Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Allowah Children’s Hospital, The Northcott Society, ADHC and NSW and NT Health. Her career has been dedicated to working with children and adults with complex physical disabilities including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, and spinal cord injuries. Lisa is driven by a deep commitment to helping participants and their support networks thrive and achieve their personal goals.
Support for complex needs
Lisa’s experience extends to the prescription of complex assistive technology, including custom wheelchairs, specialised seating, manual handling equipment, and alternate positioning solutions. She also possesses invaluable experience in guiding individuals through transitions into and out of various supported accommodation settings. A particular passion of hers lies in supporting teens, young adults and their support networks as they navigate the crucial transition into adulthood and adult-based services, ensuring a smooth and empowered journey. Lisa embraces challenges, excelling in problem-solving to deliver the best possible outcomes for her clients.
